I “joke” that the Willamette Valley, with its rainy days and abundant summer sun, is my natural habitat. Twice I’ve moved away, only to be tempted back by its beauty, people, and abundance. Our world can seem stressful, confusing, and dark. However, I’m a pragmatic optimist, so I believe that helping people visualize the best outcome while planning for life’s inevitable curveballs is our best path forward. Nearly everyone else in my family are teachers, and though I didn’t choose that path, that legacy is reflected in my philosophy of bringing my legal expertise to clients with humor and kindness, explaining complex concepts in everyday language, and sharing knowledge with the community at large.

I’m a natural introvert, but my favorite part of being a professional in our community is connecting with clients, learning about their unique paths, and helping them make intelligent, informed decisions about their futures here.
