20 Under 40: Susan Ordonez

Susan Ordonez is the Director of Alumni Operations for the University of Oregon Alumni Association, where she helps develop the strategies, systems, and workplace culture that enable staff to do their best work. During more than a decade in progressive leadership roles with the UOAA, she has strengthened connections among the university, its students, the Eugene-Springfield community, and more than 280,000 alumni worldwide. Her commitment to service extends from her experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in South Africa to her current role as Chair-Elect of the United Way of Lane County Board of Directors. Susan is passionate about investing in relationships, empowering others to lead, and creating meaningful change that leaves organizations and communities stronger.
